�Cowboy� Dave Gibson

 

2 Timothy2:15, certainly has my attention. Modesty isn�t the only thing Cowboy Dave is known for. After serving his country in the Marines for several years, he had enough spunk to try his hand at Bronco and Bull Riding.  After riding everything that could be ridden he went on to be a Rodeo Clown in the PRCA circuit helping cowboys have a chance for a safe bull ride like the ones he tried for.

 It never ceases to amaze me how diverse the people that come to the Road Angel can be. Let�s take the newest addition to the Road Angel for an example, a man known as �Cowboy� Dave Gibson.  I have only just recently been introduced to Cowboy Dave, but I like him already. Anyone willing to go to the pulpit dressed as a rodeo clown,, preaching from

  After becoming semi-retired as a Rodeo Clown, the Great God we serve equipped Cowboy for a new path as a traveling evangelist, sharing his stories of courage and conquest as a man of God in a tough world. Now days Dave travels with his camper in tow, ministering in Churches, Truck Stops, and anywhere opportunity presents its self.  Once again I am grateful that he found his way to our door to be an encouragement, and a much needed helping hand during Jamboree.  If you ever see Cowboy Dave on the road and chances are you might.  Try this, offer to buy him a cup of coffee, and listen to his testimony of why he loves Jesus like he does, and you will be pleased with the results. Trust me, I did just that and was blessed.
